Terms of Use & End-User License Agreement

1. Permission to use the application

501 Metals grants authorized users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the application to explore products, prepare quotes, manage their authorized accounts, and communicate about projects. You may save or print your own quotes and project records for those purposes. This permission does not transfer ownership of the application, our branding, or other users’ content.

Use only accounts and records you are authorized to access. Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in details, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized account use. Do not bypass access controls, disrupt the service, impersonate another person, or submit unlawful content. Staff and contractor permissions apply only to the access granted to each account.

2. Quotes are not final orders

Catalog prices, saved quotes, quantities, drawings, and project estimates are planning information subject to office review. Submitting a quote requests review; it does not by itself confirm stock, establish a final price, accept an order, or collect payment. A recorded order or checkout link is not proof of payment.

Before purchase, confirm the final materials, sizes, quantities, availability, approved prices, tax, payment arrangements, and pickup or delivery details with 501 Metals. The office must review the final invoice. Use only the payment options actually made available for your approved order.

3. Custom-cut materials and purchase terms

Materials may be cut or manufactured to your specifications. Check every dimension, profile, color, finish, quantity, and drawing before approving production. If a change is needed, contact the office promptly to confirm whether it can be accommodated; editing a saved quote does not change an already approved order.

Order-specific acceptance, changes, cancellation, return, refund, delivery, and warranty terms must be supplied or confirmed before purchase. Do not assume that custom-cut materials can be changed or returned. These application terms do not create a new cancellation fee, return entitlement, or refund rule.

Some catalog materials are described as “non-warranted.” Confirm the terms applicable to the particular product and order before purchasing. That catalog description is not a new blanket exclusion of warranties or rights under these application terms. Nothing here removes rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

4. Measurements, drawings, and photo tools

You are responsible for checking the project information and dimensions you supply. Screen colors, finishes, drawings, and photo overlays are illustrative, not exact product matches. Estimates and photo-based suggestions are advisory; they are not a professional inspection, engineering design, code determination, or authorization to manufacture or install.

Have a qualified person verify field measurements, material suitability, structural and installation requirements, and applicable codes before ordering, fabrication, or work. Hidden conditions and incomplete views may affect the result. Do not rely on an image or automated suggestion as the only basis for a safety or construction decision.

Some project tools remain restricted previews. Optional AI photo analysis is not enabled for customer use. If made available later, it requires a separate consent step and human review; describing it here does not activate it.

5. Your content and account information

Submit only information, photos, drawings, and profile content you are authorized to provide. You retain your rights in that content. You give 501 Metals permission to process it as needed for the site features you request, including quote review, approved-order handling, account support, and displaying profile information you submit for publication. This permission is not an unrestricted right to use your content for unrelated purposes.

Our Privacy Policy explains account information, product activity, referrals, inquiries, browser storage, and optional provider connections. Keep private information out of public profile fields. Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, or bank credentials in notes, drawings, or messages.

6. Contractors and referrals

Contractor and representative profiles help people connect. A listing or referral alone does not guarantee licensing, insurance, workmanship, availability, or suitability. Verify qualifications and agree on scope, price, payment, and other project terms directly with a contractor before engaging them.

Account referral selections control salesperson attribution and access as described in the account form. Changing a referral for future orders does not rewrite earlier order credit.

7. Connected services and availability

External sign-in, accounting, payment, and email services have their own terms and privacy practices. QuickBooks Online and email delivery require separate business setup and authorization. A service named in the application is not necessarily connected or available. 501 Metals is not Intuit or QuickBooks.

Tools may be changed, restricted, or temporarily unavailable as the application is maintained and permissions are reviewed. Access may be restricted to protect accounts or address misuse. If you need an existing quote or order while access is unavailable, contact the office. Account access changes do not themselves cancel an approved order or delete business records.

8. Updates to these terms

The effective date appears above. If these terms change, the updated terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Review the terms presented when using the application or approving an order, and ask us about any uncertainty before proceeding. These website-use terms do not replace separately agreed order terms.
